Terence Lewis makes acting debut with ‘Aaj Ka Mahishasur’, first look and devotional song unveiled

Mumbai, Oct 13 (UNI) Choreographer Terence Lewis is set to make his acting debut with "Aaj Ka Mahishasur", a film that uses the mythological figure to explore the evils of contemporary society.
The makers marked Navratri by releasing the film’s first look and devotional song 'Jagdambe Rani'.
On this occasion, the film team bowed their heads at the famous Mumba Devi temple in Mumbai and took the blessings of the mother. This film, being produced by Gaurang Bhaskar, is being directed by Dheeraj Kumar. Padmini Kolhapure, Chandan Roy and Ayesha Aiman will be seen in important roles along with Terence Lewis in the film. Director Dheeraj Kumar is also making his debut in the field of direction with this film.
Speaking about the film, Terence Lewis said, "Starting my film career with 'Aaj Ka Mahishasur' is a very special experience for me. Its story is both entertaining and thought-provoking. It not only talks about the mythological Mahishasura, but also exposes the harsh realities of today's society that are often overlooked. Evil is not only around us, but often lurks within us. Being a part of a story that entertains and also delivers a social message makes my film debut special."
The film's devotional song 'Jagdambe Rani' is composed by Amol and Abhishek, with lyrics by Abhishek Talented. The song is sung by Dev Negi, Divya Kumar, Amol Shrivastava, and Abhishek Talented.
The festival of Navratri symbolises Goddess Durga's victory over Mahishasura and the triumph of good over evil. Based on this sentiment, "Aaj Ka Mahishasura" attempts to expose the evils prevalent in modern society. The film raises the question of who is the real Mahishasura—the evil hidden within society or the negativity within humans. UNI NST CDS
