Trump to host tech executives, unveil AI-powered government platform

Washington, Sep 29 (UNI) US President Donald Trump will host prominent technology executives on Tuesday and unveil America.gov, an artificial intelligence-powered federal platform aimed at helping citizens access government services.
Trump is scheduled to announce the digital initiative during an address at the Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium in Washington. He will later hold a closed-door session on artificial intelligence at the White House.
The scheduled luncheon will be attended by Anthropic Chief Executive Dario Amodei, Meta Chief Executive Mark Zuckerberg and OpenAI President Greg Brockman, along with US House Speaker Mike Johnson,as per US media reports.
Palantir CEO Alex Karp is also expected to attend the meeting, CNN reported.
The high-level discussions come amid an intensifying debate over whether federal regulators should impose limits on the pace of artificial intelligence development.
Trump has repeatedly rejected calls for slowing AI development, instead advocating faster construction of data centres and continued technological expansion.
