New Delhi, Sep 27 (UNI) Thousands of people hailing from 36 communities across Delhi, Haryana, Western UP, Rajasthan and even Madhya Pradesh on Sunday attended the Mahapanchayat called by Sarvajatiya Sarvakhap Palam 360, chaired by its Pradhan, Chaudhary Surendra Solanki regarding the objectionable remarks against Hindu religion, women and Jats, by Sunil Kumar, from Tatesar village.
In the Mahapanchayat leaders from the Balmiki Community including Naresh Balmiki, former MLA from Bawana, Chand Ram and Vijay, laid out the proposal from the community that alleged remarks made by Sunil, is an insult to the Hindu religion and the entire 36 communities, while entire Panchayat unanimously approved, and condemned such an act.
The Mahapanchayat held in Kanjhawla village, gave stern message to the political parties, to not politicize such sensitive issues, and affect brotherhood amongst 36 communities.
He asserted that dignity and respect of all mothers, sisters and daughters, from all the communities is very important and something essential, and therefore said that the issues must be straightened and women’ dignity must be safeguarded.
An eleven member committee has also been formed during the Mahapanchayat which is now going to meet both the sides regarding the incident and the remarks, involved in the controversy, and will resolve the issue.
In this connection the committee will pursue the parties concerned, and as per Panchayat decision they will be advised to take back the FIRs and amicably resolve the matter, and promote brotherhood.
Former MLA, Chaand Ram, introduced a proposal that in case, the families concerned do not agree with Panchayat, the 36 communities will approach the police to revoke the sections of the SC, ST Act.
Solanki informed that the Panchayat would not support those who will not concur with the decisions taken for ensuring justice and keeping in mind the dignity of women.
From the Valmiki Samaj, their chief here Naresh Balmiki kept the proposal before the Mahapanchayat that that the entire community is unhappy and angered over Sunil’s alleged remarks, as it was an insult to the Hindu religion and the communities, adding that no person in such manner should hurt sentiments of any community or religion.
Meanwhile, Solanki while starting the Panchayat said that in case a single person does anything objectionable, the entire community cannot be held responsible, and whosoever does an objectionable act, he or she does not represent a community in his or her actions and remarks.
The Khap chief informed that the DCP of district concerned, Shashank Jaiswal was also present in the Mahapanchayat, and appreciated the efforts to promote brotherhood and maintain warmth amongst the 36 communities.
People and leaders including Naresh Balmiki, Lado Sarai 96 pradhan Naresh, Rao Tribhuvan Singh, representing Yadavs, Deepak Vashisth, head Brahman Samaj Delhi, Ramesh Kumar from Julaha community, Santram from Prajapati community, Karan Singh Dabas, from Kanjhawla village, Samundar Singh, Pradhan of Karala and several other important village representatives form across Delhi’s more than 360 villages were present on the occasion.
