ACB conducts raids on RTA & Excise check posts in K B Asifabad, seizes unaccounted cash

Komaram Bheem Asifabad, Apr 4 (UNI) In a significant operation aimed at curbing corruption, the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) conducted surprise raids on the RTA and Excise check posts at Wankidi in the Komaram Bheem Asifabad district during the intervening night of April 2 and 3, 2025, from 0243 hours to 0300 hours.
During the checks, ACB officials apprehended three unauthorised individuals collecting money illegally from lorries and other transport vehicles passing through the check posts. At the RTA check post, two unauthorised persons were found involved in illegal collections.
A sum of Rs 8,500 was recovered from Durshetti Ailioah, identified as an unauthorised collector and driver linked to AMVI Ms Gugulothu Madhavi. Additionally, Rs 9,700 was seized from Jadav Vijay Kumar, an unauthorised collection agent associated with MVI Sri Shankar Naik. A further unaccounted sum of Rs 26,900 was found in a drop box kept at the RTA check post.
