All party meet on NEET on Mar 9 : Stalin

Chennai, Apr 4 (UNI) Terming the Centre's refusal to give assent to the
Bill adopted in the State Assembly seeking exemption from the purview
of NEET exams as a black chapter in Federal history, the Tamil Nadu
Government has called for an All party meeting to decide on the next
course of action on NEET.
Making an announcement in the State Assembly on Friday, Chief Minister
M K Stalin invited floor leaders of all the parties to take part in the meeting.
It would be held at the State Secretariat on March nine evening, he said.
While promising that legal experts would be consulted to decide on the
next course of legal battle on the issue, Mr Stalin assured that his government
would take all legal steps to realise the dream of young medical aspirants and
their parents by exempting TN from the purview of NEET and ensuring admissions
to UG MBBS courses based on the marks secured in Plus two Board exams.
