Annamalai among top TN BJP leaders elected to Natl Gen Council

Chennai, Apr 12 (UNI) Strengthening Tamil Nadu BJP's presence at the National Council, top
state leaders, including former TN President K Annamalai were elected to the General Council
in the elections held on Saturday.
This was announced by Union Minister G Kishan Reddy and BJP National General Secretary
Tarun Chugh and other senior leaders, while officially declaring former AIADMK Minister and
BJP Legislature Party leader Nainar Nagendran as the 13th President of the State Unit.
Apart from Mr Annamalai, among those unanimously elected to the BJP's National General
Council included former President and Union Minister L Murugan, former Union Minister Pon Radhakrishnan, former Telangana Governor Ms Tamilisai Soundararajan, BJP MLA Ms Vanathi Srinivasan, and senior leader H Raja and others.
