Anti-BJP parties want to build wall in the country: Keshav Maurya

Lucknow, Apr 22 (UNI) Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Keshav Prasad Maurya on Tuesday said that all those parties, including Congress and Samajwadi Party, which do appeasement and vote bank politics, are spreading confusion in the country against the Waqf reform.
Addressing a workshop under the 'Waqf Reform Public Awareness Campaign of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) at party office, the Deputy CM said, "After the passage of the Waqf Amendment Act 2025 in Parliament, there is a debate going on in the country in support of and opposition to the bill. All those parties, including Congress and SP, which do appeasement and vote bank politics, are spreading confusion in the country against the Waqf reform. Opposition parties, including Congress, SP, TMC, and RJD, are propagating the Waqf Amendment Act as an anti-Muslim bill in the country."
He said that the Waqf Amendment Act will prove to fill the lives of 90 per cent of the Muslims of the country with prosperity. "Muslims will come out of the crisis of unemployment. The educational level of Muslims will improve," he said.
Maurya said that the rights of the poor will be given only to the poor due to Waqf reform. "We have to reach the Muslims with this truth. BJP is planning to go among the Muslims, and there is panic in the opposition on hearing this. Anti-BJP parties want to build a wall in the country in which they want to divide Hindus and Muslims," he said.
He said that the opposition parties first divide Hindus and Muslims among themselves and then divide Hindus into castes. "Whereas the reality is that Congress and SP are neither well-wishers of Muslims nor of upper castes, nor backward castes nor Dalits. These are parties doing politics only for the progress of themselves and their families. But in 2027, the BJP is going to form the government for the third time in the state, crossing 300 seats," he claimed.
The Deputy CM said that in 2027, there is an opportunity to make SP the "Samaptwadi' party. "Congress wants to gain political advantage by spoiling the atmosphere of the country, but now this is not possible. The air has gone out of SP's balloon," he said.
He said, "After taking training in the workshop, we all have to go out for public dialogue. The confusion spread by the opposition parties among the Muslims has to be removed, and the road map of economic, educational and social improvement of Muslims through Waqf reform has to be put before them."
Maurya said, "We will go with full preparation and will reach with the mantra of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas and Sabka Vishwas by contacting and communicating through various programmes. This mantra is included in every scheme of the central government. In which every poor person is getting the benefits of the schemes without any discrimination. The whole country stands with faith in Prime Minister Narendra Modi."
