AP: Reconstruction of Amaravati with divine blessings of Srivaru: TTD Chairman

Amaravathi, Mar 13 (UNI) Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) Chairman BR Naidu said on Thursday that the reconstruction of Amaravati (the state capital of Andhra Pradesh) should begin with the divine blessings of Swami varu after the celestial Srinivasa Kalyanam.
Addressing at a media conference along with TTD Executive Officer J. Syamala Rao here, Naidu said all arrangements have been completed for the celestial Srinivasa Kalyanam which is set to take place on Saturday from 6-30 pm to 8-30 pm in the premises of Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Venkatapalem village, at Amaravathi in a big way.
The Chairman said as per the wish of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, the first instalment of the tender process is complete and the work of building Amaravathi is set to start with a capital of Rs.30 thousand crore.
A meeting was held with Amaravati farmers and farmer’s association leaders; everyone wanted to participate in the reconstruction of Amaravati.
The TTD EO said extensive arrangements have been made in coordination with the district administration so that the devotees coming for Srinivasa Kalyanam do not face any inconvenience.
Priests and Vedic scholars are coming from Tirumala to organic the festival in a grand manner; he said. "Along with the construction of the Kalyanam venue, we are providing facilities for 27 thousand devotees to watch the spiritual event," he added.
Besides installing electric lights in the surrounding areas of the wedding venue, the authorities have installed LED TVs around the stage for the devotees to watch the Kalyanam, he said.
"We are making tight security arrangements with 160 personnel from TTD Vigilance and Security Department and 600 personnel from Guntur District Police," he informed.
Five drones and 70 cc cameras have been arranged for security and monitoring with the cooperation of the local police, the EO said. UNI KNR SSP
