Arms recovered in Manipur

Imphal, Mar 17 (UNI) Arms and ammunition were recovered by Manipur Police in two separate incidents during the last 24 hours.

Police said one 5.56 mm INSAS rifle, two 9 mm carbine machine guns, a 303 modified sniper with magnifier scope, SBBL gun, pistol, hand grenade, and live cartridges were recovered from Uyok forest under Nambol PS, Bishnupur District.

In another incident, one SLR along with Magazine, Pistol with a damaged magazine, Hand grenade without a detonator, and a radio set were recovered from the Loitang Sandum Hill range, Imphal West District.
