Bengal: Man arrested for killing his 4-year-old daughter

Krishnanagar, Mar 15 (UNI) Nadia district police have arrested a middle aged man, accused of
killing his four-year-old daughter and throwing her into a river in a bid to banish the evidence in
West Bengal.
Police said Babu Ghosh alias Buddha allegedly threw her daughter several times on the metal road and threw her into the Jalangi River to evade the criminal act.
Police said the accused married seven years ago but suspected his wife of infidelity. Recently the two couples had a violent quarrel and the wife left home for her parents house .
In the absence of her wife, Ghosh, a resident of Bahadurpur Mayakol Majerpara village under Dhubulia No. 2 Panchayat of Nadia's Dhubulia police station, was arrested after the body of the
victim was retrieved from the river.
The crime took place on Friday evening.
