Bihar has not gained anything from PM's visit : CPI

Patna, Apr 24 (UNI) Reacting sharply at Prime Minister Narendra Modis' visit to Madhubani, Communist Party of India (CPI) said Bihar has not gained anything from this visit.
CPI State Secretary Ramnaresh Pandey said here on Thursday that Modi was repeatedly visiting Bihar for the electoral campaign at the government's expenditure but the people will not give another chance to BJP JDU government in the next Assembly Elections of the state due in October November.
The grand alliance will form the government this year in Bihar, he claimed.
The CPI leader said that the Prime Minister had visited on Panchayati Raj day but ironically the NDA government of Bihar was continuously curtailing the rights of the representatives of the three tier panchayat.
Even after the Panchayati Raj was with the Minister from BJP quota during the past 20 years, the rights conferred upon the panchayats through 73rd amendment were still to be implemented.
He alleged that state exchequer was misused to transport the people for the prime minister's programme and the officers were ordered to bring the people in the rally.
Pandey accused the Prime Minister for not uttering even a single word on the flood problem despite the major population of 22 districts including Madhubani facing the menace.
The flood problem can be solved permanently by constructing a multipurpose high Dam on river Kosi , Kamla and Bhagmati which is the matter of the central government, he said adding that but the PM did not speak on it during his public address.
The CPI leader said that the entire address of the Prime Minister was based on the old schemes and no new programme was announced during the rally.
