Bihar Police Sub-Inspector Mithilesh arrested accepting bribe in Siwan

Siwan, May 14 (UNI) Sleuths of Bihar State Vigilance Bureau have arrested Police Sub Inspector Mithilesh Manjhi while he was accepting bribe of Rs 20,000 and also a washing machine under Ashav police station area in Siwan district of Bihar.
Official sources said here that Chandan Kumar, a native of Sahsarao Parsaha Tola had lodged a complaint with Bureau that Sub Inspector Manjhi was demanding bribe from him for removing his name from a case.
Based on the complaint, a raiding team was constituted headed by DSP Rajan Prasad Singh who caught red handed Manjhi while he was accepting Rs 20,000 in cash and a washing machine priced Rs 19,800 as bribe, sources added.
"Arrested policeman will be produced before special vigilance court in Muzaffarpur after his thorough interrogation", sources informed. UNI KKS SSP
