BJP demands apology from KTR over Hindu community remarks

Hyderabad, March 24 (UNI) Telangana BJP spokesperson Rani Rudrama has demanded that BRS Working President KT Rama Rao (KTR) apologise to the Hindu community for his recent remarks.
Speaking to the media at the BJP state office in Nampally on Monday, she accused KTR of making baseless criticisms against BJP leaders following his party's electoral defeat. She also condemned his alleged remarks about the sacred Akshinthas from Ayodhya, stating that his comments insulted Hindu sentiments.
Rani Rudrama further alleged that both the BRS and Congress were targeting the BJP by mocking Hindu traditions for political gain. She criticised KTR for making statements to appease certain sections during Ramzan and accused him of undermining the significance of the Ram temple celebrations.
She highlighted BJP's growth in Telangana, contrasting it with the decline of BRS, which, she claimed, has lost political relevance. She also accused the BRS and Congress of misleading the public on issues like delimitation and development funds.
Warning KTR against making statements that hurt religious sentiments, she urged him to engage with the people through a padayatra, stating that Telangana’s voters would respond appropriately.
