BJP Telangana celebrates Bangaru Laxman's 86th birth anniversary

Hyderabad, Mar 17 (UNI) The 86th birth anniversary of former Union Minister and BJP National President Bangaru Laxman was celebrated grandly at the Bharatiya Janata Party Telangana State Office on Monday under the auspices of the party's SC Morcha State Unit.

Party leaders and activists paid floral tributes to his portrait and remembered his services.

BJP State Organisational General Secretary Chandrashekhar Tiwari, BJP SC Morcha State President Kondeti Sridhar, BJP SC Morcha National Secretary S. Kumar, and senior leaders including Chinta Sambamurthy, Shivaji, Mogilayya, Ashok, and Krantikiran participated in the program and praised Laxman's contributions.

BJP SC Morcha State President Kondeti Sridhar highlighted Bangaru Laxman's life journey from humble beginnings to becoming an influential leader who worked extensively for the upliftment of SC and ST communities. Sridhar urged party members to honour Laxman's ideals and follow his footsteps.

BJP SC Morcha National Secretary S Kumar recalled Laxman's pivotal role in advocating for oppressed communities. He mentioned the 'Nagpur Declaration,' which emerged from Laxman's efforts in addressing SC classification issues.

Senior leader Chinta Sambamurthy praised Bangaru Laxman as an uncompromising advocate for democratic values and a leader whose dedication, hard work, and patriotism remain an inspiration for today's youth.

On this occasion, state BJP leaders, SC Morcha members, and activists pledged to continue Bangaru Laxman's ideals and contributions to society.
