Itanagar, June 19 (UNI) Senior Congress leader and former education minister Bosiram Siram has been appointed as the new president of the Arunachal Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC), replacing the incumbent Nabam Tuki.
The appointment was approved by Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge.
Siram, who previously served as the working president of the APCC, had contested the 2024 Lok Sabha elections from the Arunachal East constituency on a Congress ticket but was unsuccessful.
The Congress party, meanwhile, expressed gratitude to the former chief minister Nabam Tuki for his leadership and contributions during his tenure as APCC chief.
