BPAC announces 10th edition of BCLIP programme

Bengaluru, Mar 17 (UNI) The Political Action Committee (BPAC) has announced the launch of the 10th edition of its flagship BPAC Civil Leadership Training (BCLIP) programme, aimed at equipping citizens with the knowledge and skills necessary to make a meaningful impact in politics and governance.

The comprehensive training initiative is designed to provide participants with insights into politics, urban administration, policy-making, leadership, electoral strategy, and media management. Over the past nine years, BCLIP has trained more than 400 citizens, enabling them to emerge as active leaders within their communities.

With the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) elections approaching, the programme offers a valuable opportunity for aspiring candidates and civic-minded individuals to gain a deeper understanding of governance and electoral processes.

The training is open to residents of Bengaluru, with applications closing on April 10. Interested candidates can apply through the official BPAC website.

Expressing enthusiasm over the latest edition of the programme, Raghavendra Poojary, Head of BCLIP, said that the initiative aims to empower citizens to drive positive change and contribute meaningfully to the political landscape. He emphasised the importance of grassroots leadership in ensuring effective governance.
