Raipur, Apr 26 (UNI) In a step towards modernising and strengthening football administration in
the state, the Chhattisgarh Football Association (CFA) on Saturday officially launched its website (chhattisgarhfootball.com) during their 2024–25 Executive Committee Meeting held here.
The website was unveiled by CFA President R. Prasanna, IAS.
The launch of the CFA website represents a significant stride in enhancing accessibility, transparency, and communication within the footballing ecosystem of Chhattisgarh. The platform aims to serve as a digital hub for football news, events, and development programmes across the state.
In his welcome message, Prasanna stated, "It is with great pride and passion that I welcome you to the official website of the Chhattisgarh Football Association (CFA). Football is more than just a game — it is a force that unites people, inspires youth, and builds strong communities. At CFA, our vision
is to nurture grassroots talent, create opportunities for young players, and promote the spirit of the beautiful game across our state."
Chhattisgarh has steadily emerged as a vibrant footballing hub in India. The state is the proud host of the Swami Vivekananda U-20 Men’s National Football Championship for the second consecutive year at the Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama Ground in Narainpur.
In addition, the AIFF U-17 Elite Youth League Zonal Round and the prestigious Junior Boys’ National Football Championship Tier 1 for the Dr. B.C. Roy Trophy were successfully organised earlier this season. These events highlight the state's unwavering commitment to nurturing young talent and providing them with competitive platforms.
