Patna, Apr 29 (UNI) Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha on Tuesday alleged that Congress was supporting Pakistan in this difficult period after Pahalgam terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir on April 22.
Sinha said here that a controversial post made on official twitter handle of Congress had raised doubts whether the party was committed to protect interest of people of India or supporting Pakistan after Pahalgam terror attack.
Top Congress leaders including Chief Minister of a state were regularly making statements that appeared to be tilted towards the interest of Pakistan, he pointed out.
"Even a top Congress leader had in the past, used to address a dreaded terrorist with great respect and affection ", the Deputy CM recalled. It was totally against the interest of people of India and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi should ask his party leaders not to make such comments, he suggested.
Congress should not get indulged in vote bank politics when need of the hour was to face challenge of terrorism unitedly, Sinha remarked.
