Congress to continue struggle to save Constitution : Rajesh

Patna, Apr 29 (UNI) President of Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee (BPCC) Rajesh Ram on Tuesday said his party would continue to struggle to save the Constitution.
Ram while addressing his party leaders and workers, who staged march to create awareness for protecting Constitution, said the Constitution was at "great risk" under the regime of Narendra Modi government.
Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi had sensed long back that Narendra Modi government was trying to change the constitution to pursue agenda of RSS, he added.
" Every Congress worker has taken pledge to protect the constitution at all cost, " Congress leader said adding that Narendra Modi government was working in dictatorial style, trampling the rights of oppressed and deprived.
It was Congress leaders who had ensured provisions in constitution to bring oppressed and deprived into mainstream of the development, he added.
" Congress has extended its full support to Narendra Modi government in its efforts to combat terrorism after Pahalgam terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir, " Ram said adding that under no circumstances, interests of the country should be compromised.
It was painful to note that Prime Minister Narendra Modi did not attend all party meeting convened to discuss the situation arising after Pahalgam terror attack, he remarked.
