Day temperatures above normal at most places over Punjab & Delhi

Pune, Apr 26 (UNI) Day temperatures were appreciably above normal (3.1°C to 5.0°C) at most places over Punjab and Delhi; at many places over east Uttar Pradesh, east Madhya Pradesh and Vidarbha; at a few places over Uttarakhand, Bihar and Marathwada; at isolated places over Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh, Odisha, West Bengal, Sikkim, Chhattisgarh.
The temperatures above normal (1.6°C to 3.0°C) at a few places over Rajasthan, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura; at isolated places over west Uttar Pradesh, Saurashtra and Kutch, Assam and Meghalaya, Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal and normal over rest parts of the country.
On Friday, the highest maximum temperature of 45.5°C was reported at Brahmapuri (Vidarbha) over the country.
