Maha: Man arrested for molesting minor by showing obscene video

Mumbai, May 9 (UNI) A 35-year-old was arrested by police for allegedly molesting an eight-year-old girl by showing her an obscene video in the Taddeo area of south Mumbai, police said here on Friday.
According to the police complainant, the mother of the victim and the accused stay in the same area, and they are on friendly terms.
On Sunday, May 4, the accused brought the victim girl to his house under the pretext of giving her pizza; later, he removed her clothes, showed her obscene videos on his mobile phone and molested her by making obscene gestures.
As soon as the incident came to light, the complainant woman had filed a complaint against the accused with the Tardeo police.
Following the complaint, police registered a case against the accused for molestation along with POCSO sections, and the accused was arrested.
