E-auction for industrial land to begin on Monday in UP

Lucknow, Mar 23 (UNI) In a move to boost investment and industrialisation, the Uttar Pradesh government is set to launch a mega e-auction for industrial plots across 16 districts starting Monday, official sources said here on Sunday.
Sources said that the auction will cover land in the Banda, Saharanpur, Hardoi, Hamirpur, Orai (Jalaun), Shahjahanpur, Amethi, Mainpuri, Aligarh, Mathura, Etah, Jaunpur, Varanasi, Kanpur Dehat, Unnao and Sambhal.
It may be noted that under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, efforts are consistently being made to create an investor-friendly environment in UP, accelerating economic growth and job opportunities in the state.
Sources said that to ensure transparency and ease of access, the state government has introduced an e-auction system for land allocation. "Investors can apply for industrial plots through the Nivesh Mitra portal, streamlining the process and making it hassle-free for entrepreneurs to set up businesses," they said.
Sources said that with pro-business policies and infrastructure development, the Yogi government continues to push for industrial expansion in Uttar Pradesh. "The upcoming e-auction presents a golden opportunity for small, medium, and large-scale industries, paving the way for job creation and economic strength," they said.
The UP State Industrial Development Authority (UPSIDA) is overseeing the auction process, ensuring investors receive all necessary support. Entrepreneurs looking to set up industries in the state can participate in the e-auction starting March 24, securing prime industrial land with ease.
