Encourage mulberry cultivation, sericulture among farmers of Vidarbha: Maha CM

Mumbai, Mar 31 (UNI) Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadanvis on Monday instructed officials to promote mulberry cultivation and sericulture among farmers of Vidarbha to make them self-reliant.
In view of continuous crop failure, unpredictable nature, climate change, limited soil fertility, it becomes risky to depend on traditional crops.
In such a situation, mulberry cultivation on less water is emerging as a more profitable and sustainable
