Ankara, Mar 19 (UNI) Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan may visit the United States in April, after the end of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan, Turkish pro-government newspaper Hurriyet reported on Wednesday, citing unnamed sources.
The Muslim holy month of Ramadan this year began at sunset on February 28 and will end on March 29.
Erdogan said his recent phone talks with US President Donald Trump were "positive," adding that he extended an invitation for the US leader to visit Turkey, the newspaper reported.
The Turkish president reportedly added that he might visit the US in the near future, after Ramadan ends.
The Turkish presidential office told a Sputnik correspondent that there was a possibility of Erdogan's trip to the US, but specific dates had not yet been determined.
