Imphal, Apr 6 (UNI) Four militants were nabbed in Manipur during the last 24 hours in four separate operations.

Police said on Sunday that security forces arrested an active member of UPPK while conducting search operations in the Hiyanglam Tera Pishak area and the Hiyanglam Mayai Leikai area under Hiyanglam-PS, Kakching District.

In another operation, security forces arrested one active cadre of KCP(PWG) from Moirang Okshongbung Shribon IV Road under Moirang-PS, Bishnupur District.



Manipur Police apprehended a juvenile , allegedly an active member of KCP (MC Progressive) from Nambol Bazar under Nambol-PS, Bishnupur District in yet another operation.

In the fourth incident Manipur Police arrested one active cadre of KCP(PWG) in and around Potshangbam, Toupoki and Ningthoukhong area under Bishnupur-PS, Bishnupur District.

Search operations and area domination were conducted by security forces in Imphal East and Jiribam districts.

One Carbine Sten Gun with magazine, four 9 mm Pistol with magazines, one .22 Rifle with magazine, three 12 Bore Single Barrel Gun, two Hand Grenade with detonators, ammunition and other materials were recovered from Keirao Wangkhem village under Andro-PS, Imphal East District.

Three DBBL Gun, one country made SBBL Gun, one SBBL Gun, ammunition were recovered from Kamranga under Jiribam-PS, Jiribam district.
