Heatwave conditions likely in Telangana in next 24 hours: Met

Hyderabad, Mar 15 (UNI) Heatwave conditions are likely to prevail at isolated pockets in Adilabad, KomaramBheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Jagtial, Rajanna Sircilla and Peddapalli districts of Telangana during the next 24 hours, Meteorological Centre said on Saturday.

In a daily weather report here, it said the same situation is likely to prevail in Adilabad, KomaramBheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Jagtial, Rajanna Sircilla, Karimnagar and Peddapalli districts of the state on Sunday.

Mist or hazy conditions are likely to prevail during morning hours at isolated places in Telangana during the next three days.

The maximum temperatures are likely to rise by 2-3 degrees Celsius at isolated places in the state during the same period.

Dry weather is likely to prevail in Telangana during the next seven days.

The highest maximum temperature of 40.8 degree celsius was recorded at Adilabad in Telangana, the report added.
