Heatwave conditions likely in Telangana in next 48 hours: Met

Hyderabad, Mar 14 (UNI) Heatwave conditions are likely to prevail at isolated places in Adilabad, Komaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial and Jagtial districts of Telangana during the next 24 hours, Meteorological Centre said on Friday.

In a daily weather report here, it said that the same situation is likely to prevail in Adilabad, KomaramBheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagtial, Rajanna Sircilla, Peddapalli districts of the state on Saturday.

Mist or hazy conditions are likely to prevail during morning hours at isolated pockets in Telangana during the next 3 days.

The maximum temperatures are likely to rise gradually by 2-4 degrees celsius during the same period.

Dry weather prevailed in the state during the last 24 hours.

The highest maximum temperature of 40.3 degrees celsius was recorded at Adilabad in Telangana on Thursday, the report added.
