Hamirpur, May 17 (UNI) Rajya Sabha MP and State General Secretary Prof Sikandar Kumar led the fourth Tiranga Yatra of Himachal Pradesh organized at Hamirpur district headquarters on Saturday.
This Yatra, being organized by the central leadership of the Bharatiya Janata Party from May 12 to May 25 across the country, is dedicated to the brave soldiers of India, who showed unparalleled bravery in protecting the unity, integrity and sovereignty of the country under Operation Sindoor.
Prof Sikandar said in his powerful address that this Tiranga Yatra is a salute to those martyrs who sacrificed their lives in honor of Mother India.
Giving information about Operation Sindoor, he said that this action was taken by the Indian forces on the night of 6-7 May, in which nine terrorist hideouts located in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir were demolished.
He reiterated that Operation Sindoor has not ended yet, it has only been suspended. The army is ready to respond to any action of Pakistan.
