Hyderabad, May 8 (UNI) Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy said on Thursday the state government has established HYDRAA with a good idea to protect the historical city of Hyderabad.
Addressing after inaugurating HYDRAA police station at Buddha Bhavan here, Revanth said 1908 floods in the city created havoc and also upset the then Nizam Government. The Nizam rulers built Osman Sagar and Himayat Sagar with the help of noted engineer Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya to prevent floods.
