New Delhi, Mar 25 (UNI) The Congress said on Tuesday that the INDI Alliance will contest the upcoming Bihar elections with full strength to defeat the BJP and its allies.
The party held a meeting to decide strategy for the elections with its Bihar leaders at the party headquarters.
The meeting was chaired by Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge and was attended by Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi and several other senior leaders.
Addressing the media after the meeting, Bihar Congress chief Rajesh Kumar said that during the meeting discussions were held as how to remove the BJP and its allies from power in Bihar.
"We will raise public issues during the election campaign. Unemployment and migration are big issues in Bihar. We will go to the public with these issues," he said.
"The INDI Alliance will contest the elections in Bihar with full strength. As far as seat sharing is concerned, it is a process which will be decided with time," he said.
Meanwhile, Kharge in his social media handle X said, "The wind of change has started blowing in Bihar."
He said that the people of Bihar are worried about development, social justice and their future and the youth are angry due to "rigging in recruitment exams, paper leak and unemployment".
"We will remove the current government and bring a government in Bihar that will bring inclusive development and protect the rights of all," Kharge said.
