India's S-400 defence system foiled Pak misadventure to target Indian bases: Bihar Dy CM

Patna, May 8 (UNI) Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary on Thursday said the S-400 defence system of India, acquired during the tenure of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, had proved to be of immense use in foiling the misadventure of Pakistan of targeting 15 military bases in India.
Chaudhary said that despite strong resistance from then US President Joe Biden, PM Modi had finalised the defence deal with Russia and acquired the S-400 defence system for our country. It was a reflection of farsightedness of PM Modi who strongly refused to bow under pressure of the US for not striking a deal with Russia, he added.
"The S-400 defence system has proved to be of immense use in foiling the misadventure of Pakistan of targeting 15 military bases in India," Deputy Chief Minister said, and added that it will be understood that India is safe and secure under the dynamic leadership of PM Modi.
The Deputy Chief Minister said that the mock drill was successfully conducted in 15 cities of Bihar, including Patna, Katihar, Araria, Kishanganj, Barauni, Begusarai and Purnia.
Mock drills would also be organised in other cities of Bihar as well, he added.
