Instil the Constitution in the minds of the people: Maha Minister Shirsat

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, May 9 (UNI) Under the 'Ghar Ghar Samvidhan' campaign, the importance of the Constitution should be instilled in the minds of the people, appealed Maharashtra Social Justice Minister Sanjay Shirsat on Friday.
As a part of the 'Ghar Ghar Samvidhan' campaign, a Constitution Glory Conference was organised during the day at Sant Eknath Rangmandir.
Speaking on this occasion Shirsat said that while implementing the door-to-door constitution campaign, the constitution should be ingrained in the minds of the people. Social justice is implemented through the constitution.
"I myself am a beneficiary of the Constitution. While working in public life, we try to implement the principles of the Constitution. The rights acquired by the Constitution should be used for the benefit of the people," he said. UNI VKB SSP

Pune, May 10 ( UNI) Jitendra Gaware, an accomplished mountaineer from the Pune-based adventure and mountaineering organisation Giripremi, has successfully summited Mt. Makalu (8,485 m). With this achievement, he becomes the first Maharashtrian to scale seven 8,000-meter peaks and joins an elite group of Indian mountaineers to have climbed all the eight-thousanders located in the Nepal Himalayas.
