Jan Suraaj to launch signature campaign against betrayal of Nitish

Patna, May 8 (UNI) "Jan Suraaj " on Thursday announced that a signature campaign against the betrayal of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar would be launched on May 11 from his native village Kalyan Bigaha as part of its drive to collect signatures from one crore people.
President of "Jan Suraaj " Manoj Bharti told media persons here that Chief Minister Kumar had betrayed the people of Bihar after making a series of promises to them after the report of the caste census was submitted to the government. Jan Suraaj would launch a signature drive from Kalyan Bigaha, the native village of Kumar, on May 11 to continue for two months to collect one crore signatures against his betrayal, he added.
"We will submit a memorandum to Bihar Governor on July 11 with the signatures of one crore people urging his intervention to force Chief Minister Kumar to fulfill his promises as soon as possible," the Jan Suraaj leader said, adding that party leaders and workers would visit
40,000 villages across the state to collect signatures. Kumar had promised to give Rs two lakhs to 94 lakhs of poor families, but it was not fulfilled, he pointed out.
"Promises of giving three decimals to poor families, financial assistance of Rs 1.20 lakh to 40 lakh families and other promises were also not fulfilled by Chief Minister Kumar after receipt of the caste census report," Bharti said, adding that his party would create awareness among the people about the failures of the Nitish Kumar government on all fronts. Jan Suraaj was a better option than all other parties for people in the next Bihar assembly elections, he asserted.
