KTR criticizes Congress Govt, calls for BRS mobilization in Warangal meeting

Hyderabad, Mar 20 (UNI) BRS Working President K T Rama Rao (KTR) lashed out at the Congress government, blaming it for Telangana's ongoing agricultural crisis.
Speaking at a BRS workers' meeting in Suryapet on Thursday, KTR claimed that the reason for the state's drying crops was not natural drought but a "drought brought about by the Congress."
Criticising the Congress-led government's handling of irrigation issues, KTR expressed disappointment that despite the presence of the state's Water Minister (Uttam Kumar Reddy)
in Nalgonda, not a drop of water was flowing in the region.

He further alleged that the government, out of blind hatred towards former Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR), was releasing Godavari water to Andhra Pradesh without addressing repairs at the Medigadda barrage .
Encouraging BRS supporters to rally in strength, KTR called on activists from every village and
youth proudly carrying pink BRS flags to attend the Warangal meeting on April 27.
He emphasised that this year marks the "year of BRS struggle" and urged the public to back BRS
to restore effective governance.
KTR remarked that the public now realises the greatness of KCR after witnessing what he described as the Congress's incompetence.
He asserted that the people desire BRS's return to power for relief from the current administration's failures.
