Law & order collapsed, even cops are not safe in Bihar : Opposition

Patna, Mar 15 (UNI) RJD on Saturday alleged that law and order had totally collapsed in Bihar
under present regime as two cops were killed during the last three days in the state.
State spokesman of RJD Mrityunjay Tiwary said here that law and order had totally collapsed in Bihar.
It was evident from the fact that two cops were killed in Araria and Munger district of the state in
last three days, he added.
"Just imagine, how safe is the life of common man in Bihar when cops themselves are not safe," Tiwary said adding that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was not in a position to take any concrete action against perpetrators of the crimes.
It was time for people of Bihar to make up their mind to oust Nitish Kumar government from the
power in next state assembly elections to be held in October-November this year, he stressed.
As it is, on Assistant Sub Inspector(ASI) Rajeev Kumar Mall was killed in attack by villagers under Phulkaha police station area in Araria district two days back while another ASI Santosh Kumar
Singh was killed in attack under Mufassil police station area in Munger district on Friday late
evening.
Santosh sustained injuries in attack by locals when a police team had arrived on receipt of violence between two groups.
He was referred to Patna for better treatment where he died during the treatment.
