Mumbai, Mar 20 (UNI) Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Thursday met Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates and discussed potential uses of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in governance, officials said.

During the meeting which took place at the government guest house `Sahyadri', both discussed possible uses of AI in healthcare, agriculture and infrastructure, said a statement from the Chief Minister's Office.

Senior CMO officials and officials from the Gates Foundation were also present at the meeting.

Later, Bill Gates also visited the office of Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and met Governor Sanjay Malhotra and other top bank officials.
