Maha: Dhwani Academy to present 'Pehel' on Mar 23

Pune, Mar 22 (UNI) Dhwani Academy will present a musical programme, called ‘Pehel’, at Seva Bhavan auditorium in Erandwane on Sunday, featuring some of the most celebrated artistes.
The evening will begin with a unique solo tabla performance by Kartik Bhalerao, a disciple of Pandit Aniruddha Deshpande. Kartik will be accompanied by Sudhir Tekale on harmonium.
This will be followed by a violin performance by Veena Math from Dharwad, a disciple and daughter of
renowned Pt B S Math & Vidushi Akkamahadevi Math. Mallesh Hugar will accompany Veena Math on tabla.
The programme will conclude with a vocal performance by Amol Nisal, a disciple of Pandit Ajoy Chakraborty. Amol will be accompanied by national awardee Abhijeet Bhattacharjee on tabla and Sudhir Tekale on harmonium, a release said on Saturday.
