Maha: Farmer injured in leopard attack in Nashik

Nashik, Apr 19 (UNI) A farmer was injured after being attacked by a leopard at Mandha village in Surgana taluka of the district on Friday.
According to sources in Forest department, farmer Sitaram Malu Thakre (44), a resident of Mandha, was digging the foundation of his house on Friday morning, when a leopard suddenly came there from behind and attacked him.
He was seriously injured in this attack. After receiving primary treatment at Pangarane hospital, he was shifted to the rural hospital in Surgana. From there, he was shifted to the district hospital in Nashik.
