Maha: Govt to launch ‘Save Environment, Beautify Earth’ initiative on World Environment Day

Mumbai, Apr 20 (UNI) In order to preserve and protect environment, the Environment and Climate Change Department will implement the ‘Save the Environment, Decorate the Environment’ (Pariyavaran Bachao Vasundhara Sajao) initiative in the state from World Environment Day on April 22 to Maharashtra Day on May one.
Maharashtra Environment and Climate Change Minister Pankaja Munde has appealed to everyone to participate in this initiative.
Under this initiative, Ms Munde will participate in a cleanliness drive at Powai Lake in Mumbai on April 22.
She has appealed all citizens to participate in this initiative, a release said here on Sunday.
