Manipur Higher Secondary exam results declared

Imphal, Apr 25 (UNI) The results of the Higher Secondary Education, conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education Manipur (COHSEM), were declared here on Friday, with the girls outshining boys in all three streams - Science, Commerce and Arts.
In Arts stream all the three toppers were from the same institution, Enlighten Knowledge Higher Secondary School, Sangakpham. Keisham Hannah Devi secured top position while Harsh Maisnam stood second and Sagolsem Inungangbi got the third position.

In the Commerce stream, students of government-run TG Higher Secondary School bagged the top three positions. Warepa Lidia, Yaifabi Sapam secured the first and second positions respectively while Devia Mayenglamba and Prithita Yumnam jointly took the third spot.
In the Science stream, Riya Kkwairakpam of Comet School got the top position while Medicianan Moirangthem of Herbert School stood second and Silvia Lukram of Comet School finished third.
The pass percentage was 94% which was 98 percent last year and the performance of government institutions improved to 89.95%.
