Mumbai,Mar 13 (UNI) The Maratha Shaurya Smarak will soon be erected in the 'Kaalamb' area of ​​Panipat in Haryana, Maharashtra Minister of Finance and Etiquette Jayakumar Rawal said on Thursday.
His comments follwed the announcement of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis at the Maratha Gallantry Day programme that a Maratha war memorial will be erected on behalf of the state government at Panipat.
Accordingly, the government order has been issued. After completing all the procedures, the 'Maratha Shaurya Smarak will be erected soon in the 'Kaalamb' area of ​​Panipat, Rawal said.
The process of land acquisition for thE memorial will be started soon at 'Kaalamb'.
A grand statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj will be erected at that place. Also, a museum symboliSing Maratha bravery, audio-visual programmes and necessary facilities will be created. "For this, I myself will work as a coordinator to coordinate with the Haryana State Government," Rawal said.
