Meghalaya CM Sangma re-elected as National President of NPP

New Delhi, Mar 15 (UNI) Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma, his wife and Gambegre MLA, Dr. Mehtab Agitok Sangma, were reelected as the National President and Treasurer, respectively, of the National Peoples’ Party (NPP) at the Constitutional Club of India, here on Saturday.
Apart from Sangma and his wife, Meghalaya Deputy Chief Minister in charge of Home and State President, Prestone Tynsong, and former Manipur Deputy Chief Minister and State President, Yumnam Joykumar Singh, have suggested the appointment of a National Working President in the party.
They have recommended outgoing General Secretary (Organisation) James K Sangma, elder brother of Conrad Sangma, as the National Working President.
