Bhopal, May 5 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Congress President Jitu Patwari has written to Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, seeking re-examination at centres where disruptions were reported during the NEET exam held in Indore on Sunday.
In his letter, Patwari alleged that students faced immense difficulties due to heavy rain and power outages during the exam. At one centre, around 600 students had to take the exam by candlelight, which is an injustice to students' futures.
Patwari requested that the examination be re-conducted at centres where disruptions occurred. He also urged the development of a disaster management system to prevent such problems in the future.
According to media reports, several exam centres in Indore experienced power outages during the exam, forcing students to take the test in darkness.
