Bengaluru GAFX 2025 in Bengaluru from Feb 27

Bengaluru, Feb 25 (UNI) Bengaluru GAFX 2025, India’s largest AVGC-XR conference, will be held here from February 27 to March 1, according to IT Minister Priyank Kharge.
Organised by the Karnataka Ministry of IT, Biotechnology, and Science and Technology, the event aims to foster innovation, industry collaboration, and global investment, reinforcing Bengaluru’s position as a leading hub for immersive media and entertainment.
With an expected attendance of 20,000, GAFX 2025 will feature global studios, investors, and technology leaders. Themed 'Future of Immersion: EXPERIENCE. EXPLORE. DISRUPT', the event will highlight advancements in AI-driven storytelling, real-time rendering, and extended reality applications.
Priyank, on Tuesday, told reporters that the state is committed to enabling digital media growth. "We act as an accelerator for the sector, integrating AI tools and human creativity to drive innovation," he said.
Dr Ekroop Caur, Secretary, ITBT, stated that Karnataka’s 16-year-old AVGC policy has positioned India as a key player in global media technology.
Key attractions include a public-access expo, an investor connect, and the live finals of a national esports tournament. Leading studios such as Warner Bros, ILM, Technicolor, Nvidia, and Autodesk will participate, with past editions featuring Disney, Netflix, and Rockstar Games.
Priyank said the conference will focus on Karnataka’s four core pillars—Infrastructure, Skill Development, R&D Investment, and Creative Collaboration, as it seeks to drive the future of immersive technology.
