Kazam, QuickCharge partner to bolster charging infrastructure in Malaysia

New Delhi, Feb 12 (UNI) Malaysia based Charging Point Operator QuickCharge has partnered with Kazam to launch over 2,000 new EV chargers across Malaysia to bolster the nation’s charging infrastructure and support its growing community of EV users.
Malaysia’s electric vehicle (EV) sector is undergoing rapid expansion, fueled by strong government incentives, infrastructure development, and a rising shift toward sustainable transportation.
As the country sets ambitious targets for EV adoption, the demand for a robust and scalable charging network has never been greater.
In response, QuickCharge plans to launch 2,000 new EV chargers across Malaysia in partnership with charging software provider Kazam to bolster the nation’s charging infrastructure and support its growing community of EV users, Kazam said in a release.
QuickCharge, a prominent Charging Point Operator (CPO) in Malaysia, has partnered with Kazam to implement its Charging Management Solution (CMS) and improve the management and scalability of its EV charging network.
Since adopting Kazam, QuickCharge has deployed 100 plus chargers across residential, hotel, and office spaces, meeting the growing demand for efficient EV infrastructure.
Over the past six months, QuickCharge has witnessed impressive results through Kazam’s charging management solutions which includes an app as well as a dashboard access to manage every charger. The energy demand routed for EV charging has more than doubled between July and December 2024, as users for the app have ballooned past 50K.
“We chose Kazam as our technology partner because of their proven track record in delivering scalable, user-friendly, and intelligent EV charging solutions,” said QuickCharge spokesperson.
“The insights provided by their analytics, combined with a high level of service standards, have allowed us to deliver a more seamless experience to our customers while meeting the growing demand for EV infrastructure," the release added.
