Mumbai, Feb 27 (UNI) The BSE Sensex on Thursday ended almost steady at 76,612.43, rising nominal by 10.31 points as buying was witnessed in Industrials, Realty and Capital Goods stocks.
While, the National Stock Exchange (NSE) fell 2.50 points at 22,545.05.
The Sensex gained 104 points at 74,706.60 in opening trade. It was rallied 232 points at 74,834.09, days high, before closing at 76,612.49 easing 10 points from its previous close.
Meanwhile, it was fell 82 points at 74,520.78 days low.
The Nifty registered days high at 22,613.20 and low at 22,508.40 points.
The stocks that kept the market positive were Industrials by 2.47 pc, Realty by 2.06 pc and Capital Goods by 1.58 pc.
The Mid cap declined 0.97 pc and Small cap by 2.09 pc.
In 30 scrips, 13 advances while 17 declined.
The gainers were Bajaj Finserv by 2.29 pc to Rs 1919, Bajaj Finance by 2.09 pc to Rs 8670, Sun Pharma by 1.63 pc to Rs 1640, Zomato by 1.48 pc to Rs 229 and Tata steel 1.20 pc to Rs 138.70.
The losers were Ultrasemco by 4.65 pc to Rs 10458, M& M by 2.13 pc to Rs 2720.80, Tata Motors by 2.12 pc to Rs 647.75 and Kotak Bank by 1.43 pc to Rs 1940.
