Bihar: Five IAS officers transferred, other 5 get additional charges

Patna, Apr 28 (UNI) Bihar government on Monday transferred five senior Indian Administrative Services (IAS) officers and gave additional charges to five others.
According to a notification, H R Srinivas, a 1996 batch IAS officer who was waiting for posting, has been made principal secretary backward and extremely backward welfare department whereas mining principal secretary Narmadeshwar Lal has been shifted to the minor water resources department in the same capacity.
Education secretary Ajay Yadav has been transferred to excise and registration department. He has been given additional responsibilities of the managing director of Bihar state textbook Publication Corporation Limited and also as MD of Bihar State Beverage Corporation Limited.
Minor water resources department secretary, Sandeep Kumar R Pukalkatti has been made secretary transport department. He has been given additional charge of the secretary road construction department.
Secretary backward and extremely backward welfare department, Manoj Kumar, has been shifted to the Panchayati Raj department.
Chaitanya Prasad, of the 1990 batch, has been made chairman of the Revenue Board. Additional chief secretary general administration department Dr B Rajendra has been given the additional charges of the director general of Bihar public administration and rural development institution.
PHED principal secretary Pankaj Kumar has been given additional charge of principal secretary of the food and consumer protection department along with additional charge as MD of Bihar State food and civil supply Corporation.
Scheduled caste and Scheduled tribe welfare department secretary, Devesh Sehra, has been given the additional charge of various posts in mining and geology department.
Special secretary General Administration Department, Rachna Patil, has been given the additional charge of director general of the BIPARD.
