Patna, Mar 29(UNI) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Saturday distributed appointment letters among newly recruited 715 Urdu translators.
Kumar distributed appointment letters among newly recruited 715 Urdu translators in a function organised at CM residence. He said that number of post of Urdu translators was only 453 in Bihar before his government was voted to power in 2005.
" After coming to power, we increased number of post of Urdu translators to 1653 in the year 2018 by creating 1204 new posts", Chief Minister said adding that 715 Urdu translators had been appointed against these sanctioned posts of 1653. His government had decided to increase the number of Urdu post of Urdu translators to 3,306 and recruitments would also be made against all these vacant posts soon, he added.
