Arunachal Guv extends Nyokum greetings

Itanagar, Feb 25 (UNI) Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lt General (Retd) KT Parnaik on Tuesday extended his heartfelt greetings to the people of the State on the joyous occasion of Nyokum Yullo, the major festival of the Nyishi community.
He expressed hope that “the festivity brings joy, harmony, and renewed strength to the bonds that unite us as one vibrant community”.
Nyokum, one of the most popular festivals in Arunachal Pradesh, marvellously reflects the treasured traditions and values of the Nyishi community. The vibrant celebrations of Nyokum Yullo provide an opportunity to showcase the moral heritage, social values, and cultural diversity that make our state truly unique. This cherished festival of the Nyishi community stands as a testament to the rich and vibrant cultural heritage of our beloved State, Arunachal Pradesh, the Governor said.
