Patna, Mar 6 (UNI) Accusing RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav of remaining indulged in cheap entertainment during the 15 years of Lalu-Rabri husband-wife duo regime, Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary alleged that Yadav was never keen for the state's development.
While replying to the debate on Income-Expenditure for the financial year 2025-26 during the post lunch sitting in the state assembly on Thursday, Choudhary claimed that the state actually made progress under Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, whose regime saw 11 times hike in the per capita income.
He said that the per capita income which was just Rs 6,000 in 2001 jumped in the regime of Kumar and was currently Rs 66,000.
